eLearning Africa is the key networking event for ICT enhanced education and training in Africa. Bringing together high-level policy makers, decision makers and practitioners from education, business and government, eLearning Africa 2017 will take place from 27 - 29 September in Port Louis, Republic of Mauritius. Serving as a pan-African platform, the eLearning Africa conference is a must for those who want to develop multinational and cross-industry contacts and partnerships, as well as enhance their knowledge, expertise and abilities. eLearning Africa takes place in a different African country each year, and the conference languages are English, French and Arabic.
For its next edition, FINE would like to invite practitioners, educators, teachers, students and scientists to submit their work on the following broad topics:
- Education in the age of technology
- Innovative teaching practices across the disciplines
- Innovation and creativity in teaching
- Transforming traditional education
The journal encourages the sharing of ideas from a wide spectrum of disciplines and educational practitioiners, specialists and researchers. The articles are peer reviewed using a double-blind peer-review process (at least two anonymous reviewers).

The conference will be dedicated to current issues of literature, translation and teaching and learning of different languages.
Academics and university lecturers are cordially invited to present their research regarding current issues of literature, translation and teaching and learning of different languages and dialects in English, Arabic or Persian. Such an approach suggests that a study is no longer limited within a certain field; knowledge from different fields cultivates diversity in a study. Recognizing this trend, the conference organizing committee aims to provide a platform for researchers and scholars from various fields to exchange ideas.

The theme of the spring 2018 issue of Scholarship and Practice of Undergraduate Research: The Journal of the Council on Undergraduate Research (SPUR, formerly CUR Quarterly) will focus on undergraduate research and student success outcomes. Four to five articles of 2000–3500 words each are sought from a wide range of disciplines that explore how undergraduate research influences student success in a variety of educational and professional contexts. In addition, shorter vignettes (300 words) are welcomed that offer concrete, creative suggestions with regard to the measurement of engagement in undergraduate research and student success. Examples of topics of interest include the following:
A panel on children’s and young adult literature is seeking original papers relating to the subject of the oral tradition and its impact on contemporary children’s or YA lit. Oral influences on any form of media for young people may be explored, including interactions and productions created by adult storytellers and participating child listeners. The Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association 2017 conference will be held at the Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane, Washington: October 12-14, 2017.
