We are seeking proposals for papers focusing on the literature, culture and social history of the British/Anglophone long-eighteenth century. This standing session entertains paper proposals on a wide variety of topics, but particularly welcomes papers focusing on context, especially the relation of an author's life to his or her texts, and the influence from earlier historical periods on works, items, customs, etc. of the eighteenth century.
Proposals attending to the conference theme "Archives, Libraries, Properties" are especially welcome.
