Academic institutions are structured so that different disciplines are housed in different departments. However, in recent years, there has been a call to augment the interdisciplinary scope of the humanities curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This push for greater interdisciplinarity in the humanities has resulted from many factors including the need to recruit students to increase humanities enrollments, a desire to sustain student interest in the humanities, better employment opportunities for those on the academic job market, and the production of unique, multi-faceted scholarship.

The topic for the Technology in the Classroom panel is open. We welcome papers, as well as practical or experience-based presentation proposals on the theory, pedagogy, or practical applications of technology in the classroom.

caucus sponsored session to be held November 16-19, 2017 at the annual conference.

According to the conference CFP, “NWSA is an organization of feminist scholars and

scholar-activists that emerged out of the social movements of the 1960s and 70s. It is fitting

The original call is below. Please also note that we have a sufficient amount of literature analyzing dystopian texts, so please avoid that genre.
