The invitation has been extended by the JS editorialcommittee following the successful symposium on this issue held at NTU inFebruary 1999. It was opened with a keynote speech by Prof Lee Chin-chuan ofMinnesota and Chinese University of HK and attended by scholars from severalEuropean countries, Chinese journalists and the Media Law Advisory Committeeof the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.Offers of articles are welcome as are offers to review and suggestions forworks to be reviewed. All articles will be peer reviewed.
