UPDATE: Aging and Identity (journal)
CFP: Journal of Aging and Identity
An invitation to contribute! The Journal of Aging and Identity is seeking
original contributions.
The Journal of Aging and Identity has been established to examine the
phenomenon of aging as it is presented in literature, popular culture and
the arts. Articles address various compelling issues, including attitudes
toward aging as depicted in the writing and art of different cultures that
offer alternatives to the Western fixation on youth. The journal's
interdisciplinary perspective is enhanced by contributions from experts in
the humanities and the biomedical, behavioral, and social sciences fields.
With its incisive scholarly focus and scope, the journal is a valuable
resource for understanding the aging process and for changing contemporary
attitudes so that society will nurture the self-worth and unique
contributions of older persons.
