CALL FOR ARTICLES

'Augustan Studies, 1700-1800', a new annual refereed journal is seeking
articles and notes for 1st first volume to be published late in 2002. The
editors are seeking contributions that deal with the literature of the 1740s.
Contributions on all genres are welcome in as far as they relate to this
decade. The editors take particular interest in the lyric poets of the period
(Collins, Akenside, the Wartons, etc.). Original findings could be
concentrated in a note. The journal attempts to publish as many notes as
possible since these might provide the basis for further critical reflection.
