Dear Professor,
Greetings from the Centre for Canadian Studies, Union Christian College,
Alwaye, Kerala, India.
This is to introduce a multi-disciplinary journal, "Journal of
Indo-Canadian Studies"(ISSN 0972-3307). His Excellency Peter Sutherland,
the High Commissioner of Canada, and Professor Gerry Turcotte,
Secretary, ICCS launched the recent issue of JICS on January 6, 2001.
JICS reaches 650 University/College libraries in India and abroad, and
is widely subscribed to by college/university students, research
scholars, teachers, educational administrators and advisors all over the
world. The Journal aims at ensuring the availability of information on
Canadian books, Publishers and authors to readers and researchers. In an
attempt to achieve this goal JICS intends to carry in each issue,
critical contributions from specialists from abroad.
We do need academic assistance from established Scholars like you to
organise and coordinate many of our programmes. You are invited to
contribute an article (3000-4500 words, MLA guidelines) by E-mail or by
post. You may also send us a review on any of the recent publications
(2000 words).
I look forward to your positive response.
With regards,
Sincerely,
Prof. Jacob George C.
