Call for Papers
The Caribbean Educational Research Journal
The Caribbean Educational Research Journal (CERJ) is a fully refereed
journal being published twice annually, in April and September, by the
School of Education at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill
Campus, Barbados.
CERJ is dedicated to building an expanding base for advancing
educational research, practice and policy in the Caribbean.
This new journal invites contributions of scholarly articles in
education from researchers, educators, and other professionals, on
important professional and intellectual issues in the field which are of
relevance to the Caribbean. Submissions can be made in any of the
following categories: empirical research, other research studies,
in-depth opinions/discourses on education; and may relate to
educational theory and practice in teaching, learning, curriculum,
administration, policy and planning, or research methodology.
Three hard copies of the manuscripts should be submitted. (Authors of
papers accepted for publication will be asked to submit a copy on
diskette formatted in WordPerfect 6.0 or above). Manuscripts should not
be more than 5000 words in length; and should be accompanied by an
abstract of 100 - 150 words. All articles should conform to the style
of the APA Manual (4th Edition, 1994), and should be typed on 8.5 x 11
inch paper, double-spaced.
