Call for Papers:

Journal x: A Journal in Culture and Criticism, seeks critical essays on any
topic and any period in English and American literature and culture.
Journal x is a dynamic journal, which publishes essays aimed at keeping
readers abreast of recent developments in literature, theory and cultural
criticism. We value essays that reveal innovative thought, style and
scholarship, as well as contributions that simply provide intellectual
pleasure. Published biannually under the auspices of the University of
Mississippi, Journal x is peer-reviewed, and lists in the MLA International
Bibliography. Please send two copies of essays with cover letter and return
envelope to: The Editors, Journal x, Department of English, University of
