ecloga: Working Papers in English Studies

ecloga is a peer reviewed journal created and edited by postgraduates in the
Department of English Studies at the University of Strathclyde. Our aim is
to provide a platform for postgraduates to publish ongoing research
alongside that of established academics.
In our second issue, as in the first, we have published articles and
creative writing that reflect on-going English Studies research at the
University of Strathclyde. Notably though, the second issue includes several
articles from postgraduates at other English Studies departments in the U.K.
This is a reflection both of the attention ecloga attracted upon its
release, and of the growing willingness amongst postgraduates to publish

Call for Papers
For the next issue, we invite papers of no more than 6,000 words on any
topic within the broad field of English Studies. Papers must conform to MHRA
or MLA standards, be MS Word compatible, and be submitted by March 31, 2003.
Please send two hard copies and one soft copy on disk or by attachment to
the address below.
