CFP: Gender and Women (9/1/03; journal issue)
The editorial office of THE HISTORIAN is currently accepting submissions for
publication consideration for an upcoming special issue dedicated to the
theme of women and gender. Subjects may include, but are not limited to,
the following analyses: gender relations, hierarchy and domination,
feminist movements, education, activism, politics, economics, science,
social structures, and intellectual discourses.
Manuscripts should be no more than 6,000 words, exclusive of footnotes. The
latter should be footnotes, not endnotes, and conform to The Chicago Manual
of Style, 14th edition. Footnotes should be citations of quoted material
rather than textual or bibliographical commentaries. Three copies of the
completed manuscript, double-spaced with one-inch margins (right margin
unjustified) are required for submission. The author's name should be
included on title page only. Authors should also send a disk copy in IBM
format plus a one hundred word summary abstract of the article.
Alternatively, submissions may be sent via e-mail as an attachment in either
MS Word or Word Perfect format to: historian_at_chuma1.cas.usf.edu.
