New Writing: International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing
Special Issue (October 2003, copy deadline July 2003)
Future Issues
This exciting new international creative writing journal, to be published by MLM
(UK/USA), is being launched with a Special Issue in October 2003.
Peer Review board members include Paul Muldoon (Princeton), Jon Cook
(East Anglia), Peter Ho Davies (Michigan), Rob Pope (Oxford Brookes), Liam
Browne (Brighton Literary Festival) and so on . . .
The Editors are Graeme Harper (University of Wales, Bangor) and Richard Kerridge
(Bath Spa University College), both of the UK Centre for Creative Writing
Research Through Practice.
The journal will publish interviews with writers/writing faculty,
some original creative work by creative writing staff and students, articles on
creative writing, articles on creative writing teaching, review articles of new
books connected with creative writing, and will include listings of
literary events and so forth.
Suggestions for papers for the Special Issue (copy deadline July 2003) --
contributors to include Alison Lurie, Maggie Gee, Anna Davis -- and for future
issues (the journal will be published 3 times a year) can be made to the UK
