CFP: Modern Language Studies: 2 new sections (no deadline; journal)

Modern Language Studies, the journal of the Northeast Modern Language
Association, has transferred operations to Susquehanna University where the
Departments of English, Modern Languages, and Art will collaborate on its
editing and redesign. Articles and reviews in MLS have always reflected the
eclectic interests and the strong research profiles of NEMLA members, and
one of our primary goals in redesigning the journal is to expand the format
so that it provides a broad range of publishing opportunities. We are
therefore adding, and seeking submissions for two new sections to the
journal:

Philament, an online peer-reviewed journal of postgraduate scholarship in
the fields of cultural studies and the literary arts, now invites
contributors for its first edition.

Philament is dedicated to advancing what is a varied and vital postgraduate
culture to a public front. As such, this inaugural issue is intended to be a
reflection of the interests within postgraduate communities at the beginning
of the Millennium.

Submissions should be sent to philament_at_arts.usyd.edu.au and must be
received by Friday July 18, 2003. Earlier submissions are encouraged.

Contributors are encouraged to submit self-contained pieces that meet any of
the following criteria:
