CFP: James Bond and Philosophy (12/31/03; collection)
Call for Papers
James Bond and Philosophy
Authors are sought for a possible collection of essays on the topic of
philosophical themes in the James Bond corpus of books and films.
Essays should address recognizably philosophical questions, though
contributors from disciplines other than Philosophy are welcome.
Potential contributors should have a Ph.D (or be ABD).
The editors are currently accepting abstracts for essays to be included
in the volume. The essays should be suitable for a general educated
audience, and should run between 3000-5000 words in length. The
deadline for receipt of abstracts is December 31, 2003. Interested
contributors are urged to consult other similar volumes, especially
Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Philosophy (Chicago: Open Court, 2003).
