interdisciplinary and cross-cultural dialogue. It publishes innovative and
serious scholarship by graduate students and helps nurture a new generation of
scholars doing cutting-edge work in the humanities and social sciences.

CRITICAL SENSE, produced by an interdisciplinary group of graduate students
and based in the Department of Political Science at the University of
California-Berkeley, seeks papers on any topic of relevance to political or
cultural theory for publication in upcoming issues.

Submissions may originate in any department or discipline and should represent
high-quality, rigorous scholarship. The editors especially encourage the
submission of master's essays and provocative seminar papers.

Submitted articles must not exceed 30 double-spaced pages (1-inch margins,
12-point type). Please include a short abstract of no longer than one page in
