Thinking Classroom (also published in Russian as Peremena) is seeking manuscripts that offer a global perspective and focus on active inquiry, student-centered learning, and critical thinking. The editors of this quarterly journal for educators are especially interested in the experience of practicing teachers and teacher educators around the world.

The editors invite you to tell us about
* How writing can promote critical thinking
* How you encourage thoughtful writing
* Changes in your society that affect the way you teach
* Your teaching or learning experiences in different countries
* An educational theory that affected your classroom practices
* How you help students develop a global perspective

Articles submitted to Thinking Classroom should not exceed 4,000 words in length. Submissions are accepted in either Russian or English, and are reviewed anonymously by professionals with expertise on the subject of the manuscript. References to articles or books cited must be complete. Detailed instructions concerning references and other formatting issues are available online at: http://www.reading.org/publications/tc/
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically, preferably as an attachment to e-mail in rich text format (.rtf file). Articles should be sent directly to bmichaels_at_reading.org. Keep a copy of all files submitted.
