CFP: Creative Writing: All Topics (5/15/04; journal issue)
'New Writing: the International Journal for the Practice and Theory of
Creative Writing'
seeks first rate contributions (closing date May 15th 2004).
New Writing publishes both creative and critical work.
Creative work can be in any genre.
Areas of critical interest include (among others): articles about creative
writing teaching methods, creative writing theory and/or practice and
research-through-practice; debates in the subject in relation to
contemporary literature, film, drama etc; analysis of the relationship
between creative writing on campus and the relevant creative industries
(eg. publishing, film/media industries etc). The editors will also consider
interviews and conference reports.
Articles should be between 2,000 and 5,000 words in length.
Creative work should be not be more than 5,000 words in length.
All submissions to New Writing are subject to peer review.
