CFP: Renaissance Drama in Performance (5/31/04; journal)
Shakespeare Bulletin, the newly refashioned journal of performance criticism
and scholarship, is seeking articles of 3,000-7,500 words on all aspects of
Renaissance drama on stage. Essays should show awareness of current
theoretical debate on matters of performance and should not, ideally, be
simply readings of productions, except in so far as the arguments presented
point beyond the given production. Articles may be historicist or
contemporary. Please send queries to Andrew Hartley at sbeditor_at_westga.edu, to
whom papers should also be sent as WORD attachments.
