CFP: Bush Culture (9/15/04; journal issue)
'Bush Culture' Review Series
Bad Subjects invites reviews (750-1000 words) or review essays (1000-3000 words) on music, books, comics, films, television, theater, art, street performance, or any cultural production associated with the political culture created by the current Bush administration. We will be especially interested in critical discussions of anti-Bush culture and their counter-politics.
Bad Subjects is a heterodox progressive journal located on the English Server (Iowa State University) at http://eserver.org/bs, with approximately 5000 readers daily. This review series will help inaugurate a new website for the journal to be unveiled on September 1, 2004.
Contact reviews co-editor Joe Lockard [Joe.Lockard_at_asu.edu] with electronic submissions. Graphics files (JPEGs preferred) are encouraged. Please provide a brief 1-2 sentence author bio and e-mail contact address. Submission deadline is September 15, 2004.
