CFP: Authenticity (5/31/05; journal issue)
The Brock Review is a blind peer-reviewed, scholarly, interdisciplinary
humanities journal that publishes annual themed issues. We at the Review are
currently accepting articles 4000-7000 words in length on the theme of
authenticity, widely conceived, in Western culture.
Possible topics may, but need not, include the following:
--authenticity and the digital universe
--literary treatments of authenticity
--social constructions of authenticity
--theoretical discussions of authenticity
--authenticity and reproduction
--authenticity and the counterfeit
--authenticity in popular culture, film, television
--authenticity and collections
--the history of authenticity
--the philosophy of authenticity
--feminism and authenticity
--authenticity and art
--authenticity and value
--intersections between authenticity and uniqueness
