CFP: Creative Nonfiction Panel (4/28/05; AWP, 3/8/06-3/11/06)
We're looking for creative nonfiction writers to be included in a panel
proposal for the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) annual
conference in Austin, TX, March 8-11, 2006. Titled "When Does it become
'Creative'?: Writing and Teaching Nonfiction Genres," this panel will
explore the sometimes blurry boundary between creative and other
nonfiction. Panelists who can speak to the ways that writers and teachers
in various disciplines (journalism, history, science, business, education,
etc.) can encourage, teach, and model creative thinking and writing are
invited to submit their proposed paper topic and description, along with a
brief bio, to Vivian Wagner, vwagner_at_muskingum.edu by April 28, 2005.
