CFP: Propaganda - Symbolism (10/15/05; journal issue)
Call for papers
Propaganda
In its volume X, Symbolism will be reflecting on the notion of =
=93propaganda=94,
both synchronically and diachronically. The practices and experiences of =
the
English-speaking world will be considered with possible comparative =
studies
with other areas. The perception of propaganda will be explored, through
examples taken from periods of war or conflict but also of peace. This
all-encompassing topic concerns all disciplines from Literature, =
History,
Sociology, Minority Studies, Gender Studies and Media Studies to
Anthropology, Architecture, the Arts and Economics. Please send your
proposals to Prof. Ren=E9e Dickason (Renee.Dickason_at_wanadoo.fr) by 15th
October 2005. Final articles are expected for March 1st, 2006.
