Papers are being accepted for a session on Writing and the First Year
Experience. The session will be devoted to various types of writing
expectations and requirements for first-year writers, mainly focusing on
writing issues in First Year Seminar/College Skills courses (not first
year writing courses). This session will probably be set up as a
roundtable with various instructors from various perspectives providing
writing topics, examples of successful (or unsuccessful) writing
assignments and opportunities for first year seminar students.
