include (but are not exclusive to):

You may submit a proposal for presentation, a panel proposal (with a minimum
of 3/maximum of 4 paper proposals), or a workshop proposal.

** Paper Proposal: Must include a title, your name, professional affiliation,
postal mailing address, telephone number, and email address. Proposal must be
at least 250 words minimum/500 words maximum. Presenters are warned that the
only technology support provided by the Conference is a DVD player with
television monitor. Any other technological support will be at the expense of the
individual presenter.

** Panel Proposal: Must include a title or theme for all presentations and
name of panel chair (with proper identifiers as listed in Paper Proposal,
above). Each individual presenter's proposal must follow the guidelines for a paper
proposal as listed above.

** Workshop Proposal: Must include a title and name of workshop moderator.
Proposal submission must follow the guidelines for a paper proposal submission.
Moderator is warned that the only technology support provided by the
Conference is a DVD player with television monitor. Any other technological support
will be at the expense of the moderator.

Please Note:

(1) You may present only ONE paper at the conference, due to scheduling
logistics. If you submit to more than one area, the area chairs will not know that
you are doing so and you may find yourself accepted multiple times. IF THAT
HAPPENS, please immediately notify the area chair(s) of the areas in which you
choose NOT to present that you have elected to present elsewhere.
If the coordinator finds multiple presentations, she will remove you as she
sees fit, so notifying area chairs is important in keeping you in your
preferred area.

(2) Once you've been accepted, you must become a member of the Popular
Culture Association in addition to registering for the conference. You may do so by
using links on the PCA/ACA Conference web site at:

http://www.popularculture.org/2006%20PAGES/registration_information.htm

Submissions must be postmarked by: October 31, 2005

IMPORTANT (If this applies to you): Passover begins on Wednesday night, April
12, which is the first day of the Conference. Please include a note to
specify if you cannot present on certain days of the conference. We will do all
that is possible to schedule around your religious observations.

Submit proposals (if by Email, please do NOT sent attachments) to:
