CALL FOR PAPERS
Symposium 2006
Mount Mary College
"Educating Global Citizens"

March 31, 2006
Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Global citizenship - awareness of the world and cultures around us - is
critically important to the future of the world. This symposium will
focus on ways women can become global citizens and educate those around
them on how to accept this new challenge. We hope to demonstrate how
women can become leaders in global citizenship by looking at it from the
regional, national and international perspectives. All approaches to
defining the work of women in global citizenship are welcome. Possible
topics may include, but are not limited to: economics, education,
technology, socio-cultural issues, regulatory issues, and history.

All presenters must be registered for the conference. Student
presenters are welcome. Potential publication venues are being
identified. For more information on Mount Mary's 2006 Symposium, please
