THE INTERNATIONAL RAYMOND CARVER SOCIETY is hosting two sessions at the
2006 ALA conference, 25-28th May in San Francisco.

1) A panel of three 20-minute papers on Raymond Carver's fiction and poetry
careers. Papers that address cross-overs between the two are encouraged.

2) A roundtable session of multiple 8-minute presentations on teaching
Raymond Carver's poetry and fiction.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS:
For 20-minute panel papers: please submit a 250-word abstract and a
100-word bio, both directly pasted into the email.
For 8-minute roundtable presentations: please submit a 100-word abstract
and a 100-word bio directly pasted into the email.
 
Deadline for both: 10 January 2006

If you do not receive receipt of your proposal within 5 days, please
forward a copy to Robert Miltner RMILTNER_at_stark.kent.edu

Presenters must be members of the International Raymond Carver
Society. Membership for 2006 is free; simply request registration at the
time of your submission.
