We have had an exciting body of proposals come in so far, and are considering
expanding panel topics. To that end, we are extending the deadline for
abstracts addressing the following topics only:
The television show Charmed; The films Bell, Book and Candle, The Wicker Man,
The Craft or The Blair Witch Project; children's or young adult literature;
post-1960s literary fiction; The Crucible (play or film); TV journalism;
advertising and ephemera.
The conference will include at least one night of film screenings at the
Harvard Film Archive.
200 word abstracts are due November 28, 2005 via email (avoiding attachments
if at all possible). Please put "abstract" in the subject line. Informal
email
inquiries may also be directed to Hannah Sanders or Peg Aloi; we have set up
an email address for this conference at: charmingcrafty_at_aol.com.
