  Global environmental issues
  Are we contributing for the extinction of life in our planet, or is all an alarmist account of radicals?
   
  The Environmentalists claim that the misuse of finite resources – water, food and raw materials – combined with water and atmospheric pollution, is causing species extinction and a climatic change – the problem of the ozone layer as already resulted in changes that led to great loss of lives –, endangering biodiversity and sustainability of the environment systems.
   
  Considering those contrary and contradictory positions, the mass media do not always contribute to inform, but increases the confusion of ideas. The problem has not yet precise configuration. That is the reason why artciencia.com is now asking the experts to explain all the Science and Art contributions, as well as Mass Communication, to the progress or decay of the Planet, in what concern environment.
