Whether in print, television, film, radio or the Internet, media is key=20
to the dissemination of information to the public. How do media portray=20
women and women=E2=80=99s issues? What types of access do women have to med=
ia?=20
What roles do women play in media? Does a feminist perspective make a=20
difference in how and what information is disseminated? The SCSU=20
Women=E2=80=99s Studies Graduate Conference Committee invites graduate stud=
ents=20
and college seniors from all institutions to submit proposals for panel=20
discussions or individual papers with a focus on all issues concerning:=20
