The six volumes of the Harry Potter series are filled with both fantasy and
things we can describe as fantastic. This session is designed to explore
those elements in more depth. Please submit a proposal of no more than 250
words by 4/1/06 to phuey_at_ut.edu (please put "SAMLA" in the subject line) or
by mail to Dr. Peggy J Huey, Box 53F, University of Tampa, 401 W. Kennedy
Blvd., Tampa, FL 33606.

Note: The 2006 meeting of the South Atlantic Modern Language Association
(SAMLA) will be held in Charlotte, NC, November 10-12. All participants in
convention meetings must be SAMLA members in good standing. Participants
must renew or become SAMLA members by 1 May in order to receive any
registration materials and SAR issues and to be included in the index of the
convention program.
