The CEA-CC invites proposals for a panel titled "The Life Aquatic: =
Amphibian and Aquatic Animals".
Please send 200-250 word proposal for a 20-minute paper to Nandita =
Batra at cea_caribbeanchapter_at_hotmail.com by 31 July 2006.
Papers may include but are not limited to the following:
The representation of amphibian/aquatic animals in Religion, Myth, =
Superstition, Literature, Theory, Beast Fables, Folk Tales, etc.
Aquatic/Amphibian Animals and Ethics (Animal Welfare, Animal Rights, =
Speciesism)
Anthropocentrism vs. Biocentrism
Proposals may be sent by email as part of a text message but not as
attachments. Presenters must be registered members of the CEA-CC at the =
time=20
of the conference.
