Feminist Theory as Praxis e-journal
Deadline: 3-25-06

Update: Besides scholarly and creative essays of 15-25 pages for the
e-journal, we are also seeking cover art for the first edition. Art
will be featured on the entrance page of the website and credit to the
artist on both the entrance page and in the TOC of the edition. Art
will be moved to the journal page when the next edition is created.

Art should address same themes as the journal, broadly: Feminist Theory
as Feminist Praxis. It may also address one of the suggested essay
topics listed below:

Reading and Feminist Epistemology as Feminist Praxis
Engaging Feminist Activism
Praxis of Academic Feminism
Feminism as Individual and/or Communal shifts in Knowing and Doing
Feminist Collective Change
Re/Definitions of Feminist Praxis
Re/Definitions of Feminist Theory
Feminist Sciences as Feminist Praxis

Format for Art:
any medium as long as it can be seen and/or heard clearly on the web

Format for essays:
Page length 10-25 double spaced
End notes and Bib single spaced (not part of page limit above)
Standard margin and font size (in conjunction with ADA regulations
standard size is no less than 12 pt)
Please do NOT send bios, CVs, or names at this time as we will do a
blind review â€" identifying material will be requested shortly after
decisions are made.

Submissions should be electronic only. Send to ikerlee_at_unm.edu Review
will be done by the entire Editorial Board, acknowledgement of receipt
of essays will be sent on deadline
