The English, Media Studies & Art History Postgraduate Society
(EMAPS) at the University of Queensland, calls for papers
which are a part of the new popular prefixing that represent
part of the current tendency to go beyond traditional classifications.
Participants are invited to address any of the 'prefixed' academic
categories from either a theoretical, critical, or creative perspective
from any of - but not restricted to - the analogous areas to English,
Media and Cultural Studies and Art History.
The conference will provide participating scholars and creative
writers an invaluable opportunity to develop academic and social
networks with other postgraduate students and academics from
across Australia and around the world through two days of intellectual
exchange.
Please send a 200 to 300-word abstract as well as a 50-word bio
(on the same page in Times New Roman font/size 12, please) to our
conference organisers at wipconf_at_uq.edu.au by Friday, July 7.
