Greetings all,

The University of Sydney Celtic Studies Foundation will hold the Sixth
Australian Celtic Conference at the University of Sydney, Australia, from
July 18 - 21, 2007.

The conference theme is 'The Celts in Legend and Reality, ancient and
modern'. We hope to attract papers from all and any disciplines relating to
the area of Celtic Studies, whether orientated toward ancient, medieval, or
modern periods, and in all fields, from those interested in literature
studies, to history, law, art, and religion.

Abstracts are invited for 20-minute papers in any field relating to Celtic
Studies, and papers addressing the theme, 'The Celts in Legend and Reality,
ancient and modern', are particularly welcome. Papers from post-graduate
students are also most welcome.

Plenary speakers will include Professor Philip Payton (Cornish Institute,
Exeter), and Dr David Caldwell (Keeper of Scotland and Europe, National
Museums of Scotland).
