New Literacies: Teaching Writing in the 21st Century
=20
This year's conference will be at Prospector Square in beautiful Park
City, Utah. We welcome submissions that focus on the theory and
practice of teaching writing, especially in relation to teaching English
at the two-year college. We're particularly interested in presentations
that address the changing conditions of literacy in the 21st century,
changes in the nature of the classroom, applications of technology to
expand learning possibilities, and challenges/successes particular to
Western rural and urban educational environments. We're also
encouraging graduate students who are interested in community college
teaching to present at this year's conference and become involved in
TYCA-West.
