We are considering proposals for session organized around a theme, =
special panels, and/or individual papers. Sessions are scheduled in 1 =
hour slots, usually with 4 papers or speakers per session.

We welcome any topics pertaining to the studies of gender, sexuality, =
and political careers/issues=97 regarding heterosexual, gay, bisexual, =
or transgender men and/or women=97and are especially interested in the =
following subjects:

=95 political campaign coverage
=95 political advertising/media
=95 news=20
=95 technology
=95 internet
=95 gender (or gender roles) and political affiliation (Republican, =
Democrat, etc.; left, right, center)=20
=95 sexuality and political affiliation
=95 religious (civic or sacred) discourse & issues
=95 the =93sexuality=94 of political issues (=93gay=94 issues)
=95 the closet (out or outed politicians)
=95 models of patronage
=95 homophobia/homosexuality in political campaigns/careers=20
