The SCIENCE FICTION/FANTASY Area of the Popular Culture Association
invites submissions for the:
PCA/ACA 2007 NATIONAL CONFERENCE
BOSTON MARRIOTT COPLEY PLACE,
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, APRIL 4 - 7, 2007
Deadline for submissions: 15 October 2006
The Science Fiction and Fantasy (SF/F) Area of PCA/ACA solicits poetry and
creative prose written in the genre of science fiction or fantasy. In order to
complement the Area's numerous academic presentations, the Science Fiction and
Fantasy (SF/F) Area seeks both published and unpublished authors to present
8-12 pages of text (or equivalent number of poems) to read at PCA. Academics,
graduate students, and independent authors/scholars are welcome. Opportunity
to sell your books to large and captive audience.
Please bear in mind that PCA/ACA is an academic conference and all authors
will be responsible for joining the organization and paying all conference
fees and costs. Individuals may only present in one area at any given PCA/ACA
Conference.
Samples of writing (not necessarily that which you intend to read, but a
representative sample) and CV may be sent to:
