DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 1, 2006
The Musical Theatre Area of the Popular Culture
Association is calling for papers for the PCA
Conference, to be held at the Boston Marriott
Copley Place, April 4 – 10, 2007. I am welcoming
proposals from anyone interested in any musical
that has been shown on the stage, in the movies, or
on television, either in America or in another
country. If you are interested in any aspect of
musical theatre, from how well the lyrics work as
script, to the translation of theater production
into film, to a discussion of a particular film or stage
musical, such as CHICAGO, JESUS CHRIST
SUPERSTAR, THE WIZ, RENT, A CHORUS
LINE, or any other—new or old—submit a proposal
to me, give a talk at the Conference, and engage in a
discussion with an interested, enthusiastic audience
afterwards.
Please send your proposal to:
Dr. Samuel Goldstein

Daytona Beach Community College
1200 International Speedway
Daytona Beach, Fl. 32176
Or email me at goldsts_at_dbcc.edu.
Or call me at 386-506-3617.
