CEA 2007 CFP -- Special Sessions: Afro-Caribbean Literature

The 38th Annual College English Association Conference: "Empathy and Ethics." New Orleans, Louisiana, April 12-14, 2007

Deadline for all proposals: November 1, 2006.

I am coordinating the CEA panels on Afro-Caribbean Literature for the 2007 Annual College English Association Conference. We welcome individual and panel presentation proposals that address Afro-Caribbean literatures in general, including--but not limited to--the following possible themes:

Participants are being sought for paper sessions on
Hypertexts, New Media, and Convergence in the
Fantastic for the 28th Annual International Conference
on the Fantastic in the Arts.

The focus of ICFA 28 is on gender and sexuality in the
fantastic, and while papers relating to this theme are
encouraged, proposals on any topics are welcome. The
conference will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida,
from March 14 - 17, 2007 at the Wyndham Fort
Lauderdale Airport Hotel. For more information and
