With Guest Speaker Nalo Hopkinson: recipient of the John W. Campbell
Award for Best New Writer

The English Graduate Student Association of Idaho State University and
the Student Association of Gradute Students in English of Utah State
University gladly welcome author Nalo Hopkinson to our third annual
Intermounatin Gradute Conference. Known for her science fiction and
fastasy novels, Nalo promises to provide some unique views on our
conference theme this year. We also gladly invite graduate students
from all relevant fields to submit work related to our theme of
Living, Writing, and Teaching in the West. We aim to gain new insights
about and recognize relationships within the Intermountain West by
listening and discussing, reading and writing together.
