Native American Literature Symposium, March 8 â€" March 10, 2007
Deadline â€" November 27, 2006
One of the participants in this roundtable had to drop out due to the change in dates for the symposium. We are seeking one or two replacements.
The host facility for the symposium will be the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort,
operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan.
Roundtable on Teaching American Indian Film
This roundtable is one of two panels sponsored by the ASAIL Committee on
Pedagogy and Teaching. This roundtable will focus on American Indian films. The format will feature individual scholars giving mini-presentations on teaching Native American films and the presentations should include appropriate syllabi and notes for distribution. We are seeking discussion of hands-on classroom methods. A general roundtable discussion will follow the short presentations.
