Call for papers
English Eighteenth-Century Literature Session
We welcome submission of proposals for individual papers that consider,
but are not limited to, the following issues:
Fiction
Drama
Poetry
Non-fiction in all its forms
Letters and journals
Colonialism,
Abolitionism and Slavery
Gender and Sexuality
The private and public
sphere
Cultural spaces
The country and the city
The publishing industry
Please submit brief abstracts by email (include name, phone number,
mailing address, institutional affiliation and brief biographical
paragraph) to: m.dezio_at_tin.it (please write “RMMLA 2007†in the subject
line) or by regular mail to Marianna D'Ezio, Via Ostiense, 160, 00154
Rome (Italy).
The deadline for paper proposals is MARCH 1st, 2007.
Colleagues whose paper proposals have been shortlisted for presentation
will be notified by MARCH 9th, 2007.
All presenters need to be current
in RMMLA dues by APRIL 1st, 2007.
***The deadline for AV equipment
and/or scheduling requests is MAY 1st, 2007***
The preliminary program
will be posted by June 15th, 2007 on the RMMLA website. Edits to the
program need to be made by August 1st, 2007. A list of all important
dates and deadlines appears on the RMMLA website.
