CFP: Literary Criticism and Undergraduates (11/30/06; CEA,
4/12/07-4/14/07)

College English Association National Conference, April 12-14, 2007, New
Orleans, LA.

This year's Conference theme is "Empathy and Ethics."

The CEA is accepting submissions for a panel on Literary Criticism and
Undergraduates.
200 to 500 hundred word abstracts for papers are invited that treat such
topics as approaches to teaching literary criticism; approaches to
teaching poetry, fiction, or drama through critical perspectives;
reflections on the importance of literary theory in the undergraduate
curriculum; observations on the role of literary criticism in various
kinds of courses; and considerations of future directions on teaching
literary criticism. Other related topics are welcome.

Proposals are to be submitted via the online database at
http://english.ttu.edu/CEA/conftool/index.php

by November 30th.

When you submit your proposal, indicate the topic of your submission.
You may use a pull-down menu to indicate your topic. You may also
include the topic on your abstract.
