To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Khoi Nguyen, a graduate student at Southern Connecticut State
University in the Women's Studies program. I am currently developing a new
journal, *Gender on Our Minds*, an interdisciplinary publication dedicated
to awareness gender and queer studies. *Gender on Our Minds* provides a
space for marginalized groups to discuss topics and issues such as GLBTIQ
identities, academic and queer pedagogy, arts, cultures, histories,
politics, and theories.

Submission is open to the general public. The editors welcome all, but are
particularly interested in submissions that contribute to current
conversations in gender and queer studies.
Please circulate this call for submissions with the artists on your web site
for potential art works: painting, photography, sculpture and many more. The
editorial board is open to other suggestions of possible material for print.

The deadline for the journal is January 26, 2007. The tentative date for
the publication to be release is March 20, 2007.
