Keynote Speaker: Ralph Keyes, professor Antioch College and author of
THE COURAGE TO WRITE.
Open to graduate students in all English concentrations: Literature,
Composition & Rhetoric, TESOL, Creative Writing, Linguistics.
The English Graduate Organization at Wright State University is seeking
paper, session, and workshop proposals that tease out the possibilities
of our theme "Life in the Story." Graduate students are encouraged to
go beyond Derrida--that everything is text--and see everything as story.
Story is more that narrative and literature; story can be found in
teaching and writing strategies, poetic styles, grading methods, and
writing across the disciplines.
Please e-mail your proposals of no longer than 250 words as a Microsoft

Sessions are limited to one hour. Workshops are limited to either one-
or two-hour sessions. Individual papers will be assigned to a panel of
three speakers (15 minutes per speaker plus 15 minutes total for
follow-up discussion.)
