The John Donne Society welcomes submissions for two sponsored panels at the 2007 MLA Convention in Chicago (December 27-30). The first session is entitled "Politics, Presence, and Place in John Donne's Sacred and Profane Poetry." The second is an open session on any aspect of Donne's life and writings.

The H.D. International Society is calling for proposals for a paper to =
be delivered at its panel at the American Literature Association =
Conference in Boston, May 24-27. Cynthia Hogue and Demetres =
Tryphonopoulos will join us to talk about their forthcoming editions of =
H.D.'s novels, THE SWORD WENT OUT TO SEA and MAJIC RING (respectively), =
and we are seeking one additional paper to complete this panel -- either =
on one of H.D.'s late novels; or on H.D. and editing, archival work, =
