Papers are invited for a special session on horror film for this year's
RMMLA Convention in Calgary, Alberta. All submissions will be
considered; papers may treat any of the horror subgenres (slasher films,
gothic horror, serial killer films, zombie films, etc.) or take any
theoretical approach to horror film.=20

Please submit a 250-word abstract along with a one-page CV or brief
biographical statement no later than February 27th, 2007. Also indicate
whether your presentation will require AV equipment. Accepted
presenters will need to be current in their RMMLA dues by 04-01-07. =20

Abstracts and CVs may be emailed as Word attachments or in the body of
the email to tperrello_at_csustan.edu. This year's convention will be held
at the Westin Calgary Hotel from October 4th-6th. Please consult the
