The Place of Multimedia in the Language Curriculum
April 27-28, 2007
University of Chicago, Hyde Park Campus

Join us on Friday evening for our opening panel discussion:

“Use or Refuse: Pros and Cons of Multimedia”

On Saturday the Symposium will continue with presentations
and a poster session on topics related to the use of
multimedia.

Topics may include:
•innovations with time-tested technology
•implementation and evaluation of multimedia options
•enhancing multiple-skill integration with multimedia
•student expectations and instructor practices
•integration of course management tools
•distance learning
•teacher training and professional development
•issues and concerns regarding technology and instruction
        
Language instructors at all levels are invited to submit
proposals; all languages are welcome.
Please contact Cathy Baumann (ccbauman_at_uchicago.edu) for
proposal submission forms.
Submission deadline: Monday, March 5, 2007.
