CFP: Completed essays on Kerouac's On the Road (no deadline noted; collection)
SEEKING ESSAYS ON KEROUAC'S ON THE ROAD
For a forthcoming collection of scholarly essays on Jack Kerouac's On the
Road, my co-editor (Robert Holton of Carleton University) and I are seeking
completed essays that examine the 1957 novel's gender dynamics or its
portrayals of race and ethnicity.
The collection is under advance contract with a university publisher and
will likely be printed within the next year. Two or possibly three
additional essays are needed to round out the volume. Suggested length for
submissions is 25 pp., in MLA style.
