The William Carlos Williams Society would like to invite proposals for
two sessions at the 2007 Modern Language Association's annual meeting
to be held in Chicago, December 27-30. Both panels are sponsored by
the WCW Society.

  1. "Poetry, The Little Review, and Others." This panel seeks
papers exploring WCW's relationship to Little Magazines and Chicago.

  2. "William Carlos Williams and Company." This panel seeks papers
which will explore WCW's personal and creative associations with
various writers, artists, musicians, etc., at home and/or abroad.

  Please submit title and abstract of proposed papers along with a
brief scholarly bio by March 15, 2007 to the appropriate session chair
provided above (please also note that this information is different
from the panel listings that will appear in the MLA newsletter--but
the details in the above CFP are correct). Digital submissions as
e-mail attachments in Microsoft Word are preferred. Proposals should
also state what kind(s) of audio-visual equipment, if any, will be
needed.

To be considered for either session, prospective panelists must be
members of the MLA by 1 April 2007.
